Work Schedule, Location, and Compensation:

  • Location: This role is based in our ABA center.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Shifts are available from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must be available for either shift.
  • Compensation: Starting at $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Daily Responsibilities:

What to Expect as a Behavior Support Specialist (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address various skills, including communication, behavior management, daily living activities, and social interactions.
  • Collect and document data to track the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with clinical supervisors to make necessary adjustments.

Key Attributes and Qualifications for Success:

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to assist children with autism in reaching their goals.
  • A strong interest in learning about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
  • A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) is preferred.
  • Preferred experience of 6+ months working with children.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • All ABA therapists who are not RBT certified will be required to complete the RBT coursework and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of employment.
