About the Opportunity

Comtech Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers, troubleshooting issues with computer systems and networks, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot issues with computer systems and networks, including hardware and software problems
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and software updates
  • Document and track customer issues and resolutions
Requirements
  • Seven (7) years of experience with IT systems
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT customer support
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a military environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork
  • Work well independently or as a member of a team environment
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Networking
  • Eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position
Certification Requirements
  • CompTIA A+ CE
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security
  • Certified Network Defender (CND)
  • CompTIA Network+ CE
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
