Medical Office LPN Region A

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office LPN to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Medical Office LPN, you will assist physicians and physician assistants in providing primary medical care to patients. This is a part-time position with a standard schedule of 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and patients for medical exams.
- Obtain patient histories and basic medical data, such as vital signs, temperature, height, and weight.
- Provide direct patient care, including ear irrigation, vaccinations, and medications.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
- Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients by phone to provide follow-up, test results, or physician instructions.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry.
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
- BLS certification.
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy.
- EKG.
- Successful completion of medical scribing within probationary period.
This position is located at Summit-100 Reserve Rd and requires a medium to heavy effort. The work environment is generally pleasant, but some occupational risk is present.
