Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office LPN to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our physicians and physician assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data.
  • Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
  • Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
  • Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up, test results, and physician instructions.
  • Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice and WCMG missions through quality improvement.
  • Complete meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry experience.
  • Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
  • BLS certification.
  • Vaccine administration and medication preparation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • EKG experience.
  • Successful completion of medical scribing within probationary period.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a standard schedule of 24 hours per week. The work schedule is available 8am-5pm, with some flexibility required.
