As an HR Generalist at KPFF, you will play a crucial role in enhancing HR and benefits processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and promoting a proactive approach to compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and research federal and state regulations to develop comprehensive HR compliance resources.
- Lead and coordinate annual compliance activities, including KPFF's Affirmative Action Plan, EEO filings, and other required federal and state reports.
- Work with local offices and Talent Acquisition team to maintain job descriptions that comply with federal and/or state requirements.
- Provide support for KPFF's HRIS, testing and implementing new features, and leveraging data to inform HR strategy.
- Coordinate annual salary and benefits surveys, collaborating with local offices as needed.
Benefits and Leave Administration:
- Collaborate with the Leaves Specialist to ensure the seamless administration of KPFF's Leaves of Absence programs.
- Respond to benefits inquiries and approve enrollments in Paycom HRIS.
- Contribute to annual Open Enrollment and design materials to enhance understanding of KPFF's benefits package.
- Conduct ongoing audits of benefit plan deductions.
- Process, audit, and reconcile monthly and quarterly billing for benefit providers.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the Benefits and Payroll teams regarding compliance and updates to the Paycom HRIS.
- Foster teamwork with other internal General & Administrative (G&A) teams.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
- Ensure thorough and up-to-date documentation of all compliance processes.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience supporting a variety of HR processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Experience with HRIS platform (Paycom experience is a plus).
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative without close supervision.
- Proven track record of completing projects and tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work well with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Proactively solve problems, leveraging strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Duties are typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms.
- May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.

Compensation:
- The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
- The expected range for a qualified candidate with 5-7 years of experience is $80,000 - $85,000.
- Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
