Job Summary:

The Product Manager 3 - Technical is a key role in the PayPal Financial Products & Experiences (FPX) team, responsible for championing customer needs and driving the development of world-class financial products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and design financial products and solutions for the FPX platform, ensuring they meet customer needs and are measurable against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Define and articulate the vision and direction of products through narratives, presentations, and documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business and marketing partners, legal, compliance, and risk, to ensure products meet customer needs and are aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with development teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Oversee product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring they are aligned with customer needs and company goals.
  • Interface with external vendors and service providers to ensure products meet customer needs and are aligned with company goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Computer Science.
  • Solid understanding of consumer and business financial products, particularly installment-based lending products.
  • Background in consumer credit agency reporting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles, including road mapping, requirements gathering, and resource management.
  • Solid background in platform and engineering technologies, including RESTful APIs, MQ, Events, and general software development principles within an agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Ability to work with a wide range of functions, from business experts to developers.
  • Delivering high-quality platform products that meet customer needs.
  • Passion for the customer, both internal and external.
