Overview


The Retail Operations Supervisor collaborates closely with store leadership to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize merchandising strategies, and oversee inventory management to achieve sales objectives.

This role embodies the company values of Accountability, Collaboration, Humility, and Passion. The Retail Operations Supervisor works with the management team to grasp daily, weekly, and monthly store goals. They actively engage in merchandise organization, fulfillment, and store upkeep.
Reports to:
Store Manager and/or Co-Manager

Key Responsibilities:


Enhance In-Store Experience by exemplifying customer engagement behaviors, mentoring team members to meet store objectives, and addressing customer inquiries with urgency.

Ensures a positive shopping environment by upholding store standards. Completes all necessary tasks related to daily operations, including store cleanliness, recovery, and maintenance.

Achieves and surpasses performance metrics by reviewing, understanding, and effectively communicating daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Clearly articulates business trends to Store Manager and Management Leaders.

Reviews daily communications; organizes and assigns tasks throughout the day/week/month and ensures follow-through on required actions.

Performs additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leaders.


Boost sales and operational success by maintaining an organized sales floor and stockroom, facilitating merchandise flow to create an appealing shopping experience.


Supervises and may assist in planning and executing all inventory management activities, including freight receipt, placement, markdowns, and inventory adjustments.

Responsible for all omni-channel activities in-store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.

Utilizes inventory reports to maximize efficiency and merchandise presentation on the sales floor.

Ensures a safe environment for both customers and team members. Regularly checks that all equipment is in good working order.


Maintains supply inventory to support effective floor moves, markdowns, and fulfillment in stockroom, cash wrap, clearance, and non-sales areas.

Completes all documentation related to audits, donations, transfers, discrepancies, damages, etc.

Supports the Store Manager in realizing the company's Mission, Vision, and Strategy within the store.

Collaborates closely with the Store Manager to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Aids the Store Manager and other leaders in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.


Contributes to team development by training, coaching, and guiding associates while providing constructive feedback to management.

Assists the Store Manager in addressing team relations issues.

Participates in the Performance Review process by preparing and conducting performance evaluations for associates and leads.

Assists the team in managing payroll and timekeeping responsibilities.

Recognizes team members through company recognition programs.

Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a retail environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Some college education preferred.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
