POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-driven sales environment. This position emphasizes our core values and guiding principles in all store activities, including managing sales performance, safeguarding assets, and overseeing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Analyze sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborate with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.

• Set clear expectations and hold the store team accountable for meeting brand standards in performance and behavior.
• Manage payroll and supply budgets efficiently.

• Oversee essential operational tasks such as scheduling, shrink audits, inventory management, and ensuring accuracy in payroll documentation.

• Conduct all financial transactions in compliance with company policies, including cash handling, price adjustments, and merchandise management; ensure accuracy in all register operations.

• Uphold compliance with relevant laws, loss prevention policies, and operational procedures; provide training to associates to reinforce adherence to these standards.

• Manage inventory processes, including receipt and dispatch, daily replenishment, and preparation for physical inventories.

• Ensure that visual merchandising, organization, and store maintenance reflect the brand's image.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture by motivating the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity targets.

• Train and mentor team members to ensure comprehensive product knowledge both online and in-store.

• Inspire and engage the store team, fostering a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
• Promote a collaborative approach to problem-solving and communicate effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to facilitate positive changes.
• Actively seek personal development opportunities and welcome feedback to enhance leadership skills.

• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.

• Demonstrate sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers in making informed choices and resolving any concerns promptly.

• Ensure a swift and efficient checkout experience, staying updated on policies regarding payments, returns, and security practices.

• Maintain consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives, loyalty programs, and sign-up processes.


• Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.
• Support and follow up on all training programs and seminars.
• Evaluate and coach store team performance.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to address human resources matters effectively and timely.
• Drive team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
• Ensure adherence to all employment practices and policies by the store team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in retail management preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to company-provided technology
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service and leadership skills
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Effective leadership, training, and team-building skills
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of retail operations
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
• Regular attendance is essential for meeting company objectives, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent climbing as needed during the shift
