As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the electrical engineering sector by crafting innovative design solutions and producing comprehensive documentation for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and communication infrastructures across all project phases. This position involves collaboration within a diverse team, including architects, interior designers, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and civil engineers. You will also have the chance to guide junior engineers by providing technical design insights and support throughout various project stages.

Deliver Excellence
  • Oversee the activities of the electrical design team during the schematic, design development, and construction documentation phases of projects.
  • Organize meetings and engage in reviews with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Utilize design software and technologies, such as Revit, AutoCAD, BSD Spec Link, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting Software, Easy Power, and other emerging tools for effective presentation and production.
  • Assist in creating building models, detailed contract documents, construction documents, photometric simulations, arc flash studies, and specifications that align with the company's standards.
  • Coordinate technical project components with other internal disciplines and external consultants to prevent conflicts in documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program or equivalent education and experience necessary for professional licensure.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering across a variety of project types.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NCEES registration and NSPE membership.
  • CSI-CDT certification.
  • LEED AP BD+C and/or WELL AP certification.
  • Experience conducting Arc Flash Studies using simulation software.
  • Familiarity with Elum Tools, Visual Lighting Software, and Easy Power.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
