Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage the Commissioning Team: Provide direction, support, and development opportunities to the commissioning team.
- Develop Commissioning Plans and Schedules: Oversee the development of commissioning plans and schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Provide Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the commissioning team and other project stakeholders.
- Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding commissioning activities.
- Develop and Oversee Commissioning Policies: Develop, oversee, and write commissioning policies, scripts, and procedures.
- Validate Equipment Installations: Validate equipment installations to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Perform Construction Observations: Perform construction observations and develop thorough test plans.
- Execute Tests and Ensure Compliance: Execute tests for a wide variety of electrical systems and ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and specifications.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other project team members.
- Minimum of 10 Years of Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in electrical power distribution with a strong emphasis in data centers.
- Engineering Degree or Equivalent: Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering disciplines, two (2) year degree, military training, or equivalent work experience.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Passion for leading in moments of ambiguity, particularly in the realm of construction, electrical, and mechanical operational problems.
- Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with MS Office products and proficiency with AutoCAD. Bluebeam experience a plus.
- Professional Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional) are a plus.
