Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to enhance our internal technology frameworks and provide comprehensive support across our organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with our team to refine technology strategies, assess risks, and engage with clients regarding their IT development and support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee technology solutions tailored to both internal and external client requirements, including consulting services for Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and recommend enhancements for upcoming Microsoft technology releases.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks affecting project scope, timeline, quality, or budget.
  • Manage and prioritize the workload of the Technical Services Team, addressing helpdesk requests and maintenance tasks related to desktop, server, network, SQL, email, and Microsoft applications. Ensure thorough documentation of client systems and applications.
  • Assist the technical team in deploying new computing systems and upgrading existing hardware within Azure and M365 environments.
  • Oversee technology infrastructure components, including Active Directory Domain Services, Azure Active Directory, network devices, Windows servers, and hardware peripherals.
  • Design and manage system security protocols for both client and internal systems.
  • Administer various internal and external systems, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Endpoint Management, Project Server, Exchange Online, Azure SQL Server, and Dynamics applications.
  • Create and update technical documentation to standardize internal IT processes and training.
  • Support the Strategic Planning and Leadership team in achieving key objectives and guiding the technical solutions provided by the Technical Services team.
  • Exhibit leadership and innovative problem-solving while upholding the Advisicon brand and its core values.
  • Ensure quality assurance of technical solutions and collaborative efforts within the IT team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation, operations, and maintenance within diverse platform environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of security practices in technology, particularly within Microsoft operating systems and M365/Azure environments.
  • Proven ability to manage both technical and non-technical teams effectively, with strong customer service skills.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Extensive experience with M365 administration, migrations, and integration of Hybrid Exchange and Active Directory.
  • Advanced skills in administering Azure services, including Azure AD, Security Center, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience in deploying Microsoft Defender environments and implementing Azure Sentinel within a zero-trust framework.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Partner Center administration and licensing.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Azure MFA implementations.
  • Strong skills in gathering and documenting customer requirements.
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Relevant Microsoft 365, Azure, or technology certifications (e.g., MCA, MCSE, MCE).

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced PowerShell administration experience for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
  • Enterprise-level Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Project PPM solutions.
  • Senior-level expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong database design skills within SQL Server.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Work Environment:

This role will be performed in a professional office setting, allowing for a hybrid work model. The position primarily involves sedentary work, utilizing virtual communication tools to collaborate with team members and clients.

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with variations based on experience and skill set.
