Aerospace Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our spacecraft development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating mechanical systems for our reusable launch vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems for spacecraft and launch vehicles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other spacecraft systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth production and testing of mechanical systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, development, and integration
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
