Aerospace Systems Engineer II, Space Systems Development

As a Aerospace Systems Engineer II, Space Systems Development, you will contribute to the systems engineering, integration, and test of developmental spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in vehicle-level Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) activities
• Develop, mature, and/or manage requirements, interfaces, Concept of Operations, technical budgets, verification artifacts, and System Safety products
• Coordinate and assist the integration of subsystems and other support organizations
• Support major programmatic design, mission readiness/operational reviews
Requirements
• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or related technical field
• Testbed, Assembly, Integration & Test (A&IT), or Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) experience
• Spaceflight hardware build and integration experience with depth in one or more subsystems
• Fundamental knowledge of systems engineering practices
• Experience with spacecraft development or vehicle integration
• Self-directed and capable of balancing several tasks at one time
• Ability to communicate, work effectively, and lead diverse multi-functional technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a related field
