Account Executive, Ticket Sales Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive, Ticket Sales to join our Strategic Partnerships team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling ticket packages across our event portfolio, driving individual, group, and VIP ticket sales for numerous live event sports properties throughout the calendar year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell new ticket packages, including individual, group, VIP, and potentially travel packages, luxury suites, and/or sponsorship packages
  • Provide consistent high-volume outbound sales calls to drive revenue growth
  • Work events, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned to answer phones, work sales booths, and visit clients
  • Represent the organization at events and off-site community events to promote sales
  • Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities, in addition to any leads provided
  • Maintain computerized records of all customers and prospects with our CRM system
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and during games and events
  • Attend weekly meetings and actively participate in training sessions
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in successful ticket sales for a sports team, sports or entertainment property, or related organization
  • Strong desire to be a sales industry leader
  • Ability to comfortably and persuasively present sales material to potential clients
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to personal integrity
  • Ability to manage multiple programs/projects concurrently, inclusive of a detail-oriented and organized approach
  • Application of superior prioritization and time-management skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality work at a fast pace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive, team player with a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends as required
  • Ability to travel for business on trips typically lasting between three (3) and four (4) days
