Your Role:
You will play a crucial role in shaping the software architecture for applications by collaborating closely with external partners who are developing on our robotics platform, as well as engaging with various teams within NVIDIA focused on autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and refine the application architecture with an emphasis on robotic manipulation, working in tandem with architecture and software development teams.
- Enhance the deployment and integration of robust, high-performance motion generation algorithms into our products.
- Efficiently integrate hardware and software components while building scalable software solutions. Conduct profiling, benchmarking, and evaluation to ensure quality.
- Customize and optimize processing pipelines within the software stack.
- Collaborate with our global engineering teams across multiple regions to successfully deploy solutions to our clients.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development within the robotics field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, robotics, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in developing robust and efficient motion generation solutions.
- Experience in application development and familiarity with robotics-related middleware frameworks.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills, along with a good understanding of Python and scripting languages.
- Proficient in various operating systems, including Linux, Android, or real-time operating systems.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms swiftly.
- Capacity to thrive in fast-paced development environments and multi-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for robotics and the development of production software.
- Experience with ROS 2, including ros2_control and MoveIt 2.
- Expertise in machine learning, computer vision, physics simulation, or computer graphics.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Isaac, NVIDIA GPU hardware, and CUDA.
- Contributions to or leadership in open-source projects and experience in mentorship.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on your experience and location. You will also be eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
