Position: Systems Engineer - Robotics and Control Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to become a pivotal member of our Robotics and Control Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in computer science, applied physics, and mechanical engineering. This position will focus on advancing our automated manufacturing systems and establishing the core architecture, particularly in the realm of robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of motion planning and multi-axis control algorithms for robotic systems, performing simulations and analyzing motion trajectories.
  • Refine and enhance control algorithms, optimizing kinematics, dynamics, and component selection.
  • Design and implement various control strategies tailored to diverse manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to the development of electromechanical systems and software components.
  • Maintain and innovate robot control algorithms for our proprietary robotic systems.
  • Assess and evaluate robot designs for future iterations of the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive alignment on project requirements and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in control systems for robotics and electromechanical devices.
  • In-depth knowledge of control theory as it applies to robotic systems.
  • Proficient in researching, designing, and evaluating hardware and software components for robotics.
  • Strong foundation in mathematical and physical principles.
  • Demonstrated creativity, quick adaptability, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or a related engineering discipline.
