WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS A LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN IMAGING SYSTEMS
We are in search of an engineer with a robust background in ultrasound technology, signal processing, image enhancement, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++. In this role, you will focus on the characterization, optimization, and quantitative validation of imaging parameters and device performance. Your primary objective will be to enhance the quality, precision, and interpretation of ultrasound images for DeepSight's groundbreaking ultrasound systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine imaging pipeline configurations to elevate image quality.
- Enhance image reconstruction and processing algorithms for DeepSight ultrasound devices.
- Develop imaging processing applications in Python to facilitate image enhancement.
- Automate image quality assessments to bolster regression testing.
- Integrate new features and software tools that contribute to image quality improvement.
- Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to optimize the synergy of ultrasound imaging systems, ensuring effective data collection, processing, and visualization.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science discipline.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in medical imaging product development.
- Knowledge of ultrasound physics, signal and image processing, simulation, algorithm development, or tool creation.
- Expertise in programming with Python or C++.
- A strong passion for medical devices, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Master's or PhD in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering with a focus on ultrasound imaging.
- Familiarity with standard development tools, including version control, continuous integration, and automated unit testing.
- Experience in developing medical software compliant with regulatory standards.
