About the Role

Betts Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. Our company is dedicated to creating a positive and productive work environment, and we believe that our HR team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Exemplify and uphold "The Betts Way" framework in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with the HR Director to create and implement HR strategies that drive employee engagement and company success.
  • Onboarding: Serve as a secondary lead for onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, provide guidance, conduct investigations, and resolve workplace concerns.
  • Leave of Absence (LOA): Act as the primary contact for LOA requests, guiding employees through the process and maintaining accurate records.
  • HRIS & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Employee Termination: Manage the employee termination process, ensuring compliance with policies and laws, and conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing for 200+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Benefits Support: Assist the Benefits Manager with administering employee benefit programs and address related inquiries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree: In Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Bilingual: In Spanish is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a generalist role.
  • Skills: Experience in employee relations, payroll processing, recruitment, and HR compliance. Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity or similar platforms.
  • Investigations: Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations and resolving workplace issues.
  • Strategies: Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals.
