Job Summary

KCO Resource Management is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and support our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Partner with plant management and HR Corp to fulfill company culture and business needs. Oversee the recruitment, selection, and retention of all plant employees.
  • Employee Engagement and Development: Oversee the plant orientation/onboarding program for newly hired employees in partnership with management team. Partner with Plant Director and USA Compensation team to administer annual hourly wages increase program.
  • HR Operations: Oversee site payroll administration and LOA process. Manage and enhance a productive work environment by resolving conflicts between management associates, coaching management on effective management and coaching techniques.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations, representing organization at hearings, and interpreting company policy for managers and employees.
  • Leadership and Development: Partner with corporate to enhance employee and management performance by identifying training and development needs. Offer and evaluate appropriate training programs while ensuring effective utilization of performance management feedback systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Administration, Business, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of broad-based HR Generalist experience required.
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Food industry preferred.
  • 3+ years of management experience required.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices in recruitment, organization development, policy administration, training, and employee relations.
  • Hands-on, self-starter, capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all functions of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, investigation skills, HR technical knowledge, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong influence and facilitation skills.
  • Experience managing organizational change.
