Production Manager

The Production Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and output of multiple production lines across the 2nd shift, including communication with the customer whose products are produced on the line.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the supervisor and production staff (approximately 60 employees)
- Coordinate a multifunctional support team to prioritize activities
- Responsible for personal development and personal strategy
- Ensure the further development and promotion of employees (IDP, People Review)
- Ensure efficient production processes
- Proactively plan production utilization and prioritize production orders
- Responsible for the output of production quantities in relation to personnel deployment and resulting production costs
- Create and present production-relevant key figures
- Continuously improve production processes
- Communicate with suppliers as needed
- Create a budget plan for staff growth
- Ensure lean methods in production (Factory Board, PMS, RCPS)
- Focus on shop floor activities (Gemba/waste walk)
- Support lean projects within production (DBS)
- Maintain and monitor health and personnel statistics
- Projects related to production optimization (productivity, yield, throughput)
- Implement measures to obtain certifications (e.g., IATF 16949)
- Create, support, and implement training measures in the production environment
- Support Complain Handling when determining the causes of errors
- Interface with the customer to provide updates on output and line status
- Budget the annual need for temporary workers, including the ordering process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leadership within the production of automotive or electronics industry
- Familiarity with industry standards
- Knowledge of Leadership, Lean Management, SAP, and IATF 16949
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement
- Will to travel within the United States and to other countries as needed

Compensation DataThe base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $109,000 to $137,000
