Job Overview

Staffworks CNY is seeking a skilled Product Configuration Specialist to join our team.

This role involves analyzing and interpreting customer-produced engineering documentation to create part numbers and bills of material.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical documentation and be able to exercise effective organizational and work management skills to produce multiple unique part numbers under time-sensitive conditions.

Responsibilities include accessing, navigating, researching, and entering data using various systems and software, including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and the enterprise resource planning system.

The Product Configuration Specialist will also be responsible for researching, establishing, and maintaining solutions based on drawings, blueprint reading, customer data specifications, and/or special engineering product requests.

Additionally, the candidate will need to accurately perform mathematical calculations using basic math functions, unit of measure conversions, and geometry.

The successful candidate will ensure work is accurate and well-documented according to all quality management system standards.

Collaboration with various departments, including sales, engineering, and quality, is also essential.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of experience in a diverse process manufacturing environment, and proficiency in intermediate math applications.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are also required.
