Production Graphic Designer

The Production Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining the visual identity of our brand. This position requires a strong understanding of graphic design principles, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement visual design standards for our brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and produce signage for multiple enterprises, utilizing large format printers and other output devices.
  • Assist in the development of in-house advertising materials, demonstrating creativity and personal responsibility for meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare substrates for production, measuring and cutting materials to exact job specifications.
  • Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer, ensuring correct material usage and minimizing waste.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Take personal responsibility for ordering supplies and materials for the Marketing Production Room, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on large format printers, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Assist in signage installations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ensure all completed job folders are kept organized and filed, maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Interact with department and cross-enterprise coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Design, Advertising, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with the creation of dimensional signage and working knowledge of print production and pre-press procedures.
  • Proven strong knowledge of graphic layout and design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with minimal supervision.
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
