Job Summary

Cedarhurst of Lebanon is seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to fill the role of Life Enrichment Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning, scheduling, and leading community activities, holiday celebrations, and special events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Resident Engagement: Introduce new residents and their families to our life enrichment programs, ensuring a smooth transition and a sense of belonging.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to design and implement new programs and activities that promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless coordination and execution of activities and programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with activity attendance tracking, family messaging, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed, ensuring the safe transportation of residents.
  • Conflict Resolution: Work effectively with residents, families, and staff to resolve conflicts and ensure a positive living environment.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, moving, communicating, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • License and Certification: Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) within 30 days of employment. CPR or BLS certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Internet browsers, Microsoft Office programs, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and HR-related systems.
