Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning, scheduling, and leading community activities, holiday celebrations, and special events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Resident Engagement: Introduce new residents and their families to our life enrichment programs, ensuring a smooth transition and a sense of belonging.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to design and implement new programs and activities that promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Foster effective communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with activity attendance tracking, family messaging, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed, ensuring the safe transportation of residents.
  • Conflict Resolution: Utilize strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and address resident concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • License and Certification: Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) within 30 days of employment. CPR or BLS certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher, as well as electronic health records (EHR) systems and HR-related software.
