Position Overview

ITC, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our dynamic team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and refine CNC programming, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
  • Offer programming assistance during the validation of parts, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance.
  • Document and update manufacturing processes for CNC machined components.
  • Address programming challenges promptly to maintain production quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Provide on-site programming support to the manufacturing team.
  • Engage in collaborative engineering meetings, contributing insights and solutions.
  • Deliver regular updates and maintain thorough documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including manufacturing and quality engineers, to drive project success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in CNC programming is essential.
  • Proficient understanding of machining techniques such as turning, milling, drilling, and tapping is required.
  • Ability to read and write G-code programs is necessary.
  • Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., NX, Creo/Pro-E, EdgeCam) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., NX, Creo/Pro-E, Solidworks) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fixture design principles is beneficial.
  • Experience in selecting appropriate cutting tools is desirable.
  • Strong skills in blueprint interpretation and GD&T are required.
  • A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of teamwork are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications is required.
