Nexstar Broadcasting is in search of a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic Sales Department. This role is integral in assisting a team of Account Executives with various administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of our sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops compelling Sales presentations and detailed Qualitative One Sheets using PowerPoint.
- Organizes and manages the Loving, Living, Local show calendar along with coordinating commercial shoots.
- Stays updated on the latest traffic policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Collaborates with the News department to align Sales Initiatives effectively.
- Handles traffic downloads and confirmations through the Nexstar traffic hub.
- Inputs Orders into the Wide Orbit traffic system accurately.
- Maintains and updates the Strata database for optimal data management.
- Provides backup support to fellow Sales Assistants, managing overflow tasks as necessary.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience with Wide Orbit Traffic is preferred.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support the Sales team.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in clerical support or administrative roles, ideally within sales or media sectors.
- Proficient in using computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
