Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Facility Cleaner to support our Maintenance/Facilities Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a hygienic and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and clients at Hamilton Medical. We are committed to upholding a pristine facility that reflects our high standards in medical device production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks across various areas including offices, manufacturing floors, restrooms, entryways, and outdoor spaces, which includes activities such as trash collection, floor washing, vacuuming, and restroom sanitation.
  • Assist the Maintenance Department with facility-related projects as needed, such as painting and relocations.
  • Manage janitorial supplies effectively, ensuring proper organization and timely reordering in coordination with supervisory staff.
  • Initiate and execute specialized cleaning projects, including floor stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, window washing, and tunnel maintenance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of general cleaning practices, equipment, and chemicals, along with their safe usage as indicated on product labels and safety data sheets.
  • Basic knowledge of facility maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and lighting.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices to prevent hazards, including proper equipment use and awareness of wet or waxed surfaces.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in janitorial operations to enhance efficiency while maintaining cleanliness.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, standing, climbing, and reaching.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
