Job Overview

U.S. Silica is a prominent global supplier of performance materials, specializing in the production of commercial silica utilized across various industrial sectors, including the oil and gas industry. Our subsidiaries, EP Minerals and SandBox Logistics, enhance our offerings. EP Minerals excels in creating products from diatomaceous earth, perlite, engineered clays, and non-activated clays, while SandBox Logistics leads in proppant storage, handling, and delivery, ensuring cleaner and more efficient logistics.

With over 121 years of expertise, we have honed our skills in mining, processing, logistics, and materials science, allowing us to deliver over 400 diverse product types to our clients. Our operations span 23 production facilities nationwide, managing substantial reserves of commercial silica and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a business partner to the Operations and Sales Management teams.
  2. Manage EPM products and services through a comprehensive order entry process.
  3. Handle incoming inquiries from domestic customers, including distributors and end-users.
  4. Confirm product orders and pricing details.
  5. Provide competitive product information and necessary documentation such as Certificates of Analysis and proof of deliveries.
  6. Collaborate closely with Operations and Sales Management teams.
  7. Address and process customer complaints in the database.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dynamic customer service setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.

  • Able to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts and percentages, is crucial for success in this role.
  • Capable of interfacing effectively with all organizational levels.
