Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless rental experience, and maintaining our equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
  • Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Answer customer questions and educate them on our products and services, promoting a positive and informative experience.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane tanks as needed.
  • Drive a forklift and perform other duties as assigned, participating in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, and positioning yourself to reach objects at varying heights. You may be required to move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted.
