Job SummaryThe RF/Radar Systems Engineer will be responsible for conducting refined RF subsystem and system design studies, testing plans, and analysis of requirements into detailed performance design criteria. You will also design and build templates to assist SMEs in providing critical system information, conduct product or system design synthesis, and define/refine internal and external interfaces for RF subsystems and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct refined RF subsystem and system design studies, testing plans, and analysis of requirements into detailed performance design criteria.
- Design and build templates to assist SMEs in providing critical system information.
- Conduct product or system design synthesis, translating requirements into physical architectures for RF subsystems and systems of low complexity.
- Define/refine internal and external interfaces for RF subsystems and systems.
- Develop technical reports and diagrams detailing design description or performance as defined by requirements.
- Phased array design, modeling, and simulation.
- Incorporation of system-level requirements into phased array designs and operation.
- Testing of antenna subsystems up to full-scale.
- Modeling and simulation experience with MATLAB (experience with computational electromagnetic codes like HFSS and FEKO a plus).
- Antenna design knowledge.
- Experience with antenna-related hardware.
- Phased array antenna theory and hardware knowledge.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Expertise in electromagnetic theory.
- Knowledge of digital beamforming and adaptive signal processing.
- Antenna test, measurement, and integration experience.
- Working knowledge of radar system function.
