Job Title: RF Systems Engineer Co-op

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RF Systems Engineer Co-op to join our team at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse scientific and technological endeavors, use state-of-the-art equipment, and rapidly improve your technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and design RF systems for various applications
  • Develop and test RF circuits and components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems into larger systems
  • Document and present design and test results

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Must be eligible to be approved by your college/university to participate in a co-op program and register for co-op credit with your university during work terms
  • Must be able to complete at least three full-time co-op terms (alternating three terms of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school) prior to graduation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
  • Experience with MATLAB and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS
  • Working knowledge of circuit design and simulation tools
  • Understanding of basic electrical theory
  • Understanding of basic electromagnetic theory
  • Experience in 1 or more programming languages
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
  • Experience working in teams to accomplish tasks and meet mutual objectives
