Senior RF Systems Engineer

Georgia Tech Research Institute is seeking a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing advanced radar systems and algorithms using established systems engineering approaches. You will work with a team to perform detailed trade studies and requirements analyses, and develop solutions to satisfy system requirements. Your expertise in radar system design, signal processing, and novel waveform development will be essential in advancing key sensor capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop requirements and direct others to perform design and theory research and lab testing tasks as task lead.
* Mentor others in developing methods and expertise in broad areas of design, theory, and testing as task lead.
* Document work of design, theory, and test in written and presentation form as team lead.
* Coordinate documentation inputs from team.
* Primary lead on the development of whitepapers and proposals in research areas of expertise.
* Primary lead on sponsors and potential sponsors engagement.
* Primary author of entire technical reports/presentations of projects, journal articles, and conference presentations.
Requirements
* 9-13 years of relevant work experience with BS (or related degree); or
* 7-11 years of relevant work experience with MS (or related degree); or
* 4+ years of relevant work experience with PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI Clearance.
* Experience collaborating, organizing, teaming, and communicating with a diverse team of government sponsors, researchers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project performance.
* Experience in proposal development and leadership of sponsored research projects.
* Experience developing and delivering technical briefings.
Travel Requirements
* 10% - 25% travel.
