Job Description

As a RF/Radar Systems Engineer at Insight Global, you will be responsible for conducting detailed RF subsystem and system design studies, testing plans, and analysis of requirements into detailed performance design criteria in conjunction with the technical lead and direct sponsor engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build templates to assist SMEs in providing critical system information.
  • Conduct product or system design synthesis translating requirements into physical architectures for RF subsystems and systems of moderate complexity.
  • Analyze RF subsystem and system functionality as defined by requirements.
  • Define/refine internal and external interfaces for RF subsystems and systems.
  • Develop technical reports and diagrams detailing design description or performance as defined by requirements.
Compensation

Grade level is dependent on each individual's years of experience + level of education.

Grade 3: $121,770 - $135,300

Grade 4: $151,920 - $168,800

Grade 5: $183,780 - $204,200

Grade 6: $209,340 - $232,600

Requirements
  • Candidates currently enrolled in an accredited degree program relevant to this position will be considered.
  • The candidate must have a graduation date of no later than December, 2024.
  • Experience with radar applications, signal processing, or sensor algorithm development.
  • Experience working classified DoD or DoE projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as evidenced by conference presentations or papers.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar related field.
  • 3+ years of experience programming in Matlab.
  • 3+ years research experience.
  • Experience leading research and development teams.
  • Demonstrated success at securing research funding.
