About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team at Digicomm International. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Controller and Accounting Manager on various projects, process improvements, and workflow documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation and posting of standard journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Prepare budget to actual variance analysis and assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts.
  • Cost Accounting and Inventory Management: Perform light cost accounting and prepare Work in Process, finished goods calculations, and post to Perpetual Inventory.
  • Financial Audit and Compliance: Assist with annual financial audit, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Fixed Assets and Insurance: Manage full cycle fixed assets and prepare annual insurance audit filings.
  • Banking and Reconciliations: Prepare daily banking reports and reconciliations.
  • Personal Property Tax: Prepare and manage personal property tax filings.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus based upon personal and company performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance in a position equivalent to Senior Staff Accountant.
  • GAAP and Financial Reporting: Experience with GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Reconciliation and Analysis: Experience reconciling both balance sheets and income statement accounts.
  • MS Excel Skills: Expert level MS Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and creating comprehensive reports.
  • ERP Experience: ERP experience, Sage 100 experience a plus.
