We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SOX Compliance Accountant to join our Financial Operations team at DISH. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • SOX Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of SOX compliance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Business Process Controls: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain effective business process controls, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
  • Internal Controls: Perform walkthroughs and assist in the design and implementation of internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with business processes and internal controls, recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including audit teams, to ensure seamless execution of SOX compliance and internal control activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Certifications: CPA or equivalent certification, CIA or equivalent certification in audits.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of SOX, COSO, and business processes, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
