Position Title: Technical Accountant

Role Overview: The Technical Accountant will play a pivotal role in addressing and applying complex accounting challenges. Responsibilities encompass areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, intangible asset management, intercompany transactions, and business combinations. This position is also tasked with keeping abreast of new accounting standards and SEC regulations, evaluating their implications for the organization, and assisting in the refinement of the company's accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and manage SEC filings and internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Engage in various ad-hoc projects and special assignments as required.
  • Report directly to the Manager of Technical Accounting.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proactive approach to learning and initiative.
  • Strong analytical skills and a drive for excellence.
  • Experience in project management and detailed research.

Employment Type: Permanent position.

Work Environment: This role is situated in a collaborative team setting, balancing independent tasks with team-oriented projects. The structure includes a hierarchy with roles such as VP, Senior Manager, and Staff, fostering close collaboration with the SEC team. The workload is dynamic, with standard hours commencing at 9 AM, and flexibility for early starts at 7 AM. Mandatory presence is required until 4 PM, with the possibility of extended hours based on workload demands. While the position is primarily on-site, there may be occasional allowances for remote work under special circumstances.
