Shift Hours: 07:00-19:00

Starting Pay: $17.05 to $17.55 per hour
* Initial 16 hours of orientation training compensated at $12.00 per hour. Following that, site-specific training is provided at $17.05 per hour.

Mission Focus: Are you prepared to collaborate with Local and Federal Law Enforcement? We are seeking dedicated professionals who can perform at an elevated level. Your role will involve protecting lives and assets in accordance with Homeland Security guidelines.

Make a significant impact by becoming a member of our Critical Infrastructure Security Team, dedicated to safeguarding our nation. We are in search of highly trained Armed "G" License Officers for security access responsibilities. Selected candidates must demonstrate reliability, the ability to follow instructions, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control access to secured areas, ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
  • Potential assignments may include various job sites within the Tampa Bay Area.
  • Compensation may vary based on the location of work.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of an approved Florida Class "D" & "G" license from the DOACS, along with completion of the required 40-hour Unarmed and 28-hour Armed Security Officer Course.
  • High School Diploma or valid GED Certificate.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • At least one year of experience in a security or supervisory role.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable personal transportation and ability to commute to assigned job sites.
  • Access to a smartphone and computer with internet capability.
  • Intermediate computer skills, particularly in email, web browsing, MS Word, and Adobe PDF.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interpret complex instructions and procedures.
  • Capability to work in diverse environments, including commercial and industrial settings.
  • Ability to obtain necessary personal uniform items.
  • Good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating stairs in confined spaces.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
  • Successful completion of a Drug Test and Background Investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of or willingness to apply for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.).
  • Familiarity with security and law enforcement protocols, including investigative techniques.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing Hillsborough County.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
  • Preference for candidates with military or law enforcement backgrounds.
  • Encouragement for Women, Minorities, and Veterans to pursue a rewarding career with our security agency.
  • College-level education is highly desirable.
