Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Armed Foot and/or Vehicle Patrols: Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle to ensure the safety and security of clients and their properties.
  • Access Control and Perimeter Patrol: Monitor and control access to designated areas, perform perimeter patrols, and identify potential security threats.
  • Monitor CCTV and Alarm Systems: Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
  • Compose Reports and Investigate Incidents: Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, and maintain written logs as required by the post.
  • Aid Customers and Employees: Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, employees, and visitors, and make emergency notifications as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing Requirements: Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Armed Security Experience: Must possess one or more of the following: military service in an occupational specialty related to law enforcement, or a minimum of two (2) years of experience carrying a firearm as a law enforcement officer, with zero disciplinary action for the misuse of firearms or use of force.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors, and demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
