Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in controlling the day-to-day operations of the front desk staff, ensuring seamless customer service and sales experiences. This position is responsible for managing retail sales, membership sales, maintaining stock, member retention, customer satisfaction, and assisting the General Manager in daily duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a positive relationship with members, prospects, and staff
  • Know members on a first name basis
  • Assist with club programs to increase member retention
  • Review and address Alert reports daily
  • Help run and follow up with reports regarding members' accounts
  • Ensure the front desk addresses and notes all alerted members
  • Hold FDA's accountable for following procedures
  • Train FDA's on front desk operations
  • Order retail supplies
  • Have a firm grasp of the ABC computer program
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Communicate daily with staff regarding daily goals and weekly goals
  • Hold staff accountable for daily checklists (cleaning)
  • Develop and implement weekly promotions for the front desk staff
  • Ensure tanning beds are cleaned and ready for use
  • Monitor laundry and towel levels
  • Report equipment issues and communicate with the GM
Work Schedule:
  • 40-50 hours per week
  • Hours/shifts may vary and are subject to change
  • Additional hours may be requested for special events
