Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on providing innovative energy solutions and automation services within the commercial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Execute the setup and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS), which includes wiring, programming, and calibrating various sensors and controllers.
  • System Integration: Seamlessly integrate BMS with other essential building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BMS controls, addressing hardware malfunctions, software bugs, and network communication challenges.
  • Program Development: Modify and develop control programs tailored to specific project needs, including configuring user interfaces and setting up alarms.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to facility staff on the operation and maintenance of BMS systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities in accordance with company standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An associate degree in Electronics, HVAC, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with BMS or building automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and networking.
  • Proficiency in BMS platforms such as Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell.
  • Experience with programming languages utilized in BMS, including BACnet, Modbus, or LON.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $35 - $50 per hour
