Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive company growth and increase market share.
  • Identify potential clients and establish relationships with decision makers within client organizations.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Prioritize meetings between client decision makers and company practice leaders.
  • Plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to partner with the company.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop proposals addressing client needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing solutions and services.
  • Address client objections by clarifying agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Promote new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Organize and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with a knack for building strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade potential clients and close deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey company products and services to potential clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other business development tools.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome business development challenges and obstacles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is considered an asset.

Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
