Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a dedicated non-profit organization contracted by the State of California, with a rich history of over 50 years in providing essential service coordination for individuals with developmental disabilities. With a workforce of approximately 700 professionals across eight offices in a ten-county region, ACRC stands as one of the 21 Regional Centers in California.

COMPENSATION

Salary is commensurate with experience and education.

  • Service Coordinator I: $26.78/hr.
  • Service Coordinator IIIB: $31.43/hr. (requires a master's degree and 1 year of social work experience)
  • Service Coordinator IIIA: $34.71/hr. (requires a master's degree and 2 years of post-master's experience)

The offered salary will be influenced by various factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant job-related elements. Typically, new hires do not start at the top of the salary range.

POSITION SUMMARY

ACRC is in search of a Service Coordinator to deliver case management and advocacy services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include assisting clients and their families in obtaining and sustaining necessary supports and services such as transportation, vocational training, educational programs, mental health services, medical care, and independent living skills. The role also involves advocating for clients with community organizations, providing guidance to vendors regarding certifications and referrals, participating in the creation of Individual Program Plans (IPP) or Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP), monitoring and updating IEP/IFSPs as needed, and ensuring compliance with all required documentation and reporting in line with regulations and ACRC policies. Additionally, the Service Coordinator will share on-call duties with colleagues, assist with special projects, and provide emergency support as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related discipline, possess at least one year of professional experience in social work or a similar field (preferably related to developmental disabilities), demonstrate exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities.
