With over 50 years of experience, ACRC operates under a contract with the State of California and employs more than 700 professionals across eight offices in a ten-county region. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California, committed to enhancing the quality of life for its clients.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Salary is based on experience and educational background.
- Service Coordinator I: $26.78/hr.
- Service Coordinator IIIB: $31.43/hr. (requires a master's degree and 1 year of social work experience)
- Service Coordinator IIIA: $34.71/hr. (requires a master's degree and 2 years of post-master's experience)
The offered salary will be influenced by various factors including skills, education, experience, and other relevant job-related criteria. Typically, new hires are not placed at the top of the salary range for this position.
POSITION OVERVIEW
ACRC is currently seeking a Service Coordinator to provide comprehensive case management and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients and their families in obtaining and maintaining necessary supports and services such as transportation, vocational training, educational programs, mental health services, medical care, and independent living skills.
- Acting as an advocate for clients with community organizations.
- Consulting with and assisting service providers with certifications, applications, and referrals.
- Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans (IPP) or Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) for clients.
- Monitoring and updating IEP/IFSPs as needed.
- Completing all required documentation and reports in compliance with regulations and ACRC policies.
- Sharing on-call duties with fellow Service Coordinators.
- Supporting colleagues with special projects and during absences.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related discipline, along with a minimum of one year of professional experience in social work or a similar field, preferably in developmental disabilities. Candidates must demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management abilities. Additional qualifications may apply.
