Overview:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position will possess a minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role, demonstrating a strong commitment to accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. A professional demeanor, along with a friendly and supportive attitude, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process daily cash receipts and accurately post them to customer accounts.
2. Handle online invoicing for designated clients.
3. Generate weekly and monthly billing statements.
4. Address customer inquiries regarding billing and invoices.
5. Conduct audits of accounts receivable and reach out to clients for overdue invoices.
6. Manage phone orders as needed.
7. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will frequently need to sit, utilize hands and fingers for data entry, communicate verbally, and engage in various physical activities such as standing, walking, and reaching. The role may require occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds.
Vision capabilities necessary for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
