About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the store management team in the execution of administrative functions, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provides administrative support to store management, including scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory, and requisition.
  • Cash Office Functions: Performs daily cash office functions and maintains cash office standards.
  • Associate Support: Maintains Associate personnel files, takes an active role in the hiring process, and supports the onboarding process of new Associates.
  • Store Operations: Ensures store team executes tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizes as needed, and communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
  • Customer Experience: Creates a positive internal and external customer experience, promotes a culture of honesty and integrity, and maintains confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience required.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • Work Schedule: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
