Key Responsibilities

  • Identify complex problems, provide recommendations, and implement solutions aligned with business needs
  • Lead in the planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating the activities, program functions, personnel, physical, and fiscal resources of the assigned office
  • Assist with strategic planning and goals
Requirements
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, business management, business administration, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in benefits administration, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, and methods related to employee benefit programming
  • Familiarity with applicable local, county, and state regulations, laws, and policies
  • Skill in personnel, financial, administrative management, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in the use of technology, data compilation, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to analyze a variety of administrative, operational, and fiscal problems and make sound recommendations for solutions
  • Ability to manage and supervise program activities to ensure a program meets its goals
  • Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with culturally diverse school-based personnel, central office staff, public entities, and vendors
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in employee benefit plan design, procurement, implementation, and vendor management
  • Experience in HCM acquisition and implementation
  • Experience with the collective bargaining process
  • CEBS certification
  • SHRM-CP or SCP certification
  • Knowledge of school organization, mission, and the requirements for the assigned function to accomplish the mission
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $117,997 - $179,505. The position is a 260-day contract with a monthly pay frequency.
