Medline is seeking a Vascular Dressings Sales Consultant to oversee the Eastern region of the country. This individual will provide essential technical and sales presentation assistance to support sales teams in acquiring new clients, ensuring successful customer integration, and promoting the use of established products. The role will involve supporting unit sales strategies through both pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting efforts. Additionally, troubleshooting established products will be part of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver technical proposals demonstrating how Medline's offerings can fulfill customer requirements and how they can be seamlessly integrated with the customer's existing systems and equipment.
- Engage with potential and current clients, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) within the designated territory, both independently and in collaboration with other Medline sales professionals, to enhance or maintain sales of product lines.
- Formulate and present a comprehensive plan addressing customer systems and equipment needs to Medline teams, ensuring that the plan is viable within budgetary, temporal, and environmental constraints.
- Evaluate customer systems and product requirements through thorough research of their business operations.
- Create targeted lists of prospective accounts.
- Collect data and insights on customers, contributing to the development of presentations aimed at keeping clients informed about product advancements.
- Conduct market analysis on potential new product concepts to facilitate product line growth.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales or related business experience.
- Proven experience in creating and delivering presentations to diverse audience levels.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes, both within and outside the state.
- Prior experience in sales within the hospital and/or healthcare sector.
