Vaya Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Member Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to individuals with mental health, developmental, and substance abuse disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide telephonic screenings and link callers to appropriate clinical services in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist consumers, families, and community members in accessing necessary services within our provider network.
- Collaborate with Member Services Clinicians to identify indicators of high risk and special needs, and ensure timely referrals to Vaya Complex Care Coordination staff.
- Document all interactions and services provided in our electronic information system.
- Participate in specialized projects and reviews as assigned by Member and Recipient Services Managers or Directors.
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and two years of experience working with adults or children with serious psychiatric, chemical dependence, or developmental disability.
- Or, a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and four years of experience working with adults or children with serious psychiatric, chemical dependence, or developmental disability.
- Qualification as a Qualified Professional according to 10A NCAC 27G.
