Position Overview:

The Senior Capture Executive will play a pivotal role in collaborating with program managers, senior executives, and the acquisition community to identify and shape acquisition prospects within the Department of Defense (DoD) sector, supporting the NSS Growth team. This position requires leveraging high-level leadership skills and extensive relationships within the defense industry and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior management to understand their requirements and align them with the organization's service and product strategies.
  • Lead comprehensive capture initiatives from inception to completion, managing a team and supporting particularly challenging business development efforts.
  • Mentor and guide team members on the capture process and business development strategies.
  • Coordinate extensive proposal efforts and firm-wide initiatives, ensuring a measurable impact on business growth.
  • Maintain a broad and collaborative network across the organization.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience managing complex capture initiatives within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
  • Proven experience as a capture manager for DoD clients.
  • Expertise in developing Cyber solutions tailored for the DoD and Intelligence Community.
  • Experience executing all phases of large, multi-year capture efforts, including strategic planning, shaping, teaming, proposals, and competitive analysis.
  • Strong ability to cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with clients and partners.
  • Experience in proposal development and writing across various acquisition sizes within the Department of Defense.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to drive results through teams that do not report directly to you.
  • Willingness to travel to support customer engagements and program offices.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with DoD acquisition centers and key client mission stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to brief executives effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.

Security Clearance:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
