The Red Hat Intelligence Community Sales team is seeking a seasoned federal sales expert to join our ranks as a Senior Federal Account Executive.

In this capacity, you will manage relationships with a pivotal intelligence community client within the North America Public Sector (NAPS) division.

Your role will involve assisting our clients and partners in advancing their essential missions and IT transformation initiatives through our comprehensive services and solutions.

As a Senior Federal Account Executive, you will leverage your understanding of client missions, requirements, and challenges, effectively communicating the benefits of Red Hat's offerings and how they can fulfill client needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Articulate Red Hat's mission and vision to executive and management tiers of client organizations.
  • Successfully market solutions and services in the field.
  • Identify and develop new strategic focus areas within the designated account.
  • Serve as the liaison between Red Hat and clients in sales-related matters.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Expand and enhance the assigned account territory.
  • Lead a sales team comprising Solution Architects, Inside Sales Representatives, Consultants, Engagement Managers, and senior management at Red Hat.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a federal sales account management role.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Extensive knowledge of the U.S. intelligence community, particularly regarding the Westfield client.
  • Proven track record in selling software and service solutions within the federal sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to large, matrixed organizations with multiple decision-makers.
  • Capability to devise a coherent account strategy to grow and enhance an existing account.
  • Strong understanding of the federal government's procurement process.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while exhibiting flexibility, initiative, and the capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills to foster relationships at all levels across various organizations and programs.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

The compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
